2018 WINSTON-SALEM DANCE, DRAMA, & MUSIC CAMPS
How to find Performing Arts day camps
Use our search filters and choose Category = Arts. Choose the Sub-categories you like.
Enter your child's age and rising grade.
Narrow by location, date, and times if desired.
Many arts camps are half-day only. If you need a full-day option, include half-day in your search and look for camps that say "yes" under the Full Day Combo field; this means you can combine a morning and afternoon camp at the same location, often with extended day options.
Summer Camp Guru makes camp planning easy! We provide details for each session, saving you hours of research time.
View weekly schedules:
Miss Joyce offers sessions for ages 4-14. Kaleidium Downtown holds a Twirling in Tutus session.
The Jerry Long and White YMCA's also have dance camps.
At Triple Threat you can combine musical theatre and dance. There's also a technique camp for older dancers and Princesses and Pirates for younger kids.
This summer you can choose your show: Seussical at Creative Drama Children's Theater, The Little Mermaid at Forsyth Country Day, Mulan at High Point Theatre, and Bugsy Malone at the Spring Theatre.
UNC School of the Arts offers Camp Shakespeare.
You can also find drama camps at Summit School, Kaeideum Downtown, Drama Kids, Westchester Country Day, and the Yadkin Arts Council.
Girls who like to sing should try the Winston-Salem Girls Chorus.
Drumming is offered at Kaeideum and Summit School. The Yadkin Arts Council also hosts music camps.
And further afield, UNCG has a popular music camp with a residential option. You must apply early to get a spot.
