ART & AGRICULTURE
In North Carolina’s strong tradition of clay and textile manufacturing and farming, our 2018 Summer Art Camps will focus on using these arts to create everything involving a place at the table, including food, dinnerware, and table linens. We will be exploring where the food comes from, what we can make with it, and how it affects our local economy. All camps will help contribute to a final book that will include recipes, how-to guides for crafts, and illustrations by campers. Campers will be visiting local farms, farmers’ markets, and historical sites via the CAT bus lines, which are free to all under 12.
